Gold Derby Film Awards

The Gold Derby Film Awards were first established in 2002, to recognise the best motion pictures and animated films of the year. From 2002 to 2010 the voting process was conducted via secret ballot through Gold Derby message boards. Since 2011 the nominees are chosen by Gold Derby's registered users, editors and experts on the platform, establishing an initial ballot in the twenty-two categories for the awards. Winners were subsequently decided by votes, picking one winner from each award category, out of Best Picture whitch has also two runner-up sections.[10]
